Sara Britcliffe, Member of Parliament for Hyndburn and Haslingden, secured confirmation today that Church & Oswaldtwistle and Rishton Railway Station are both on the longlist for investment through the Government's Access for All Scheme.
The scheme improves the accessibility of railway stations, meaning there is an alternative to stair access. Accrington Railway Station has already received this investment.
