Hyndburn and Haslingden MP Sara Britcliffe has raised investment at Accrington and Rossendale College in Parliament.
The college has already been rolling out the T-Level programme and received substantial investment through the T-Level Capital Fund. Coupled with its new status as an Institute of Technology, Ms Britcliffe now wants to build on these strengths to ensure young people in her constituency have the skills they need in areas like technology and engineering for the jobs of the future.
During her speech the east Lancs MP called for further capital investment to ensure the college can continue to provide state of the art facilities and develop its offering as a technology campus, ensuring that young people from Hyndburn and Haslingden can live and work in their home towns.
